Viscount Alexander

Alexander officially opened on Sunday, February 13th, 1949.

This run is named after Viscount Alexander, Governor General at the time. Before Viscount Alexander left Canada he was made a life time member of the Ottawa Ski Club. He was a passionate skier and officiate at numerous functions.

Viscount Alexander’s speech was short and sincere “In opening this hill, which I have the honour of having named after me, I wish it many years of good sport for good sportsmen.”

Moving “mountains” to keep us skiing!

YES WE HAVE SNOW! Great March skiing!
