Our Programs
Kids have great instincts for learning and tend to pick up skiing and snowboarding faster than adults. Camp Fortune’s approach to ski lessons and snowboard lessons is to encourage a love of sport while instilling safe habits.
How to register
2024-2025 lesson registration opens later this summer.
Spots are limited.
Book in advance to ensure your ski lesson or snowboard lesson space by registering online.
Important: The lesson, season pass and rental equipment are sold separately. A season pass (best option) or a lift ticket is required for all lessons.
Please note: Camp Fortune strongly recommends the use of a helmet. Helmets are available for rent (subject to availability) but are not included in a rental package.
Season passes for lessons:
Please remember ALL Snow school participants require a season pass or a lift ticket in addition to the lesson fee. A season pass really is the best option for lesson participants since you will be skiing a minimum of 9 days during the season. When you register for lessons you will be able to purchase a specially priced unlimited season pass and a rental package as needed. If you are taking lessons on a Saturday or Sunday, you will purchase this unlimited season pass. If you are registering for Weekday or Night lessons, you also have the option to choose a Weekday, Night or Almost Anytime season pass.
Alternatively, you can purchase regular priced lift tickets for your lesson days, remember to reload online and save.
All lesson participants without a valid season pass will be sent to customer service for assistance and will miss valuable lesson time so please be prepared!
Renting vs leasing equipment for lessons:
Rental skis or snowboards are available for lessons and you can select this option when you purchase your lessons.
Seasonal ski lease packages will be available early this winter. These cannot be reserved online, customers lease these packages directly at La Boutique.
What’s the difference between rentals and seasonal leases?
When you rent skis or snowboards, you pick up your equipment before each lesson and drop it off after each lesson. We store it and tune it up as needed, all winter long. When you lease skis for the season you pick up the equipment at La Boutique and keep it with you for the season. This allows you to ski anywhere, anytime and return the equipment at the end of the season. You may choose to purchase the equipment at this time.
*Helmets are not included in either option, please purchase a helmet at La Boutique or the retailer of your choice.
9 Week Programs
Take your lesson, then take the week to practice. These programs are a great way to learn over the entire winter. 9 consecutive weeks of lessons.

9 Week Programs
5-6 Years: Club Ski-Wee 9 Week Program
Skiers between the ages of 5 and 6 develop a natural balanced stance on their skis intuitively. The Ski Wee program includes nine one and a half hour classes that teach the basics of skiing in a fun and safe way through games and skill developing play. Requirements: Student must be 5 on first day of program. Student must be mobile with equipment on, eg.: able to walk and stand unassisted with boots and skis on. Student must be well rested and willing to participate. Students in need of constant assistance should be in one-on-one lessons (privates)

6-14 Years: Performance Ski Program 4 Day Camp & 11 Saturdays
For intermediate and advanced skiers wanting exposure to gate training, terrain park and glades. Skiers will learn various skills in this program. The coaches and instructors will offer students an exceptional learning experience.
Start Dates: Dec. 21, 22, 28, 29 and on 11 Saturdays starting January 4.
Class Time
9:30 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm -3:00 pm (unsupervised lunch break)

Private SKI Lessons
Available for ages 4+ and all ski levels.
Private ski lessons are a great way to learn as our instructors can adapt the lesson to your ski level and focus on your specific needs. Lessons are priced per person and are available for 1 or 2 people. All participants in the same lesson must be the same skill level and the same age range.
Please book online in advance. Scheduled lessons go ahead regardless of weather conditions, ie, snow, rain, cold. Please be sure to arrive well prepared for any weather conditions that day.
All private lessons are non-transferable and non-refundable. Reservation is only for the named participant.

All students must be autonomous and prepared to spend the entire lesson outside, on snow. Dress for the weather.

Snow School 9 week Program Parent Pass

The Saturday Parent Pass OR Sunday Parent Pass (select one) is a value pass for parents of 9 week lesson participants. It is valid for the 9 days + 2 bonus days of the 9 week lesson program. Please select the same day as your child’s lesson. This pass is non-transferable. Each parent may buy a Parent Pass. This pass is only available for parents of active lesson participants.
The pass is purchased as an add on option when purchasing lessons. Please purchase at time of lesson registration. It does not appear as an option in the season pass store. *Plus applicable taxes. A $5 card fee applies to all passes.

Beginner 101 Session: Ski or Snowboard
AGES 7 and UP. 2 Hour Initiation Program
This 2 hour session teaches the first time skier or snowboarder basic skills including safe handling of equipment, stop techniques, speed control, balance and basic turns. Limit of one session per person. Group session. For ages 7 and up.
Package includes access to the beginner area, rentals and 2 hours of instruction (group session). The lesson takes place on the magic carpet learning area.
We supply the skis or snowboard and boots and the helmet.
You come dressed in your warm winter gear.
