The Quebec Ski Area Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1979. It was created at the instigation of Quebec’s ski area owners in order to defend the interests of the industry in its relations with the government, but also to promote skiing. The ASSQ is financed primarily through the sales of the Ski Passe-Partout and the Passe-Provinciale, as well as through members’ dues. The Association represents over 70 ski areas. maneige.com

Founded in 1938 and incorporated in 1949 as a not-for-profit organization, the CSIA is the professional ski teaching body in Canada.
